On Sunday 4th July 2010 a sponsored bike ride was held at Kenley Aerodrome to raise funds for a new toilet block at Skaterham, the local skate park based in the old Guards Chapel in Guards Avenue, Caterham.
Alex Edge from Alexander Crescent in Caterham wanted to raise the £30,000 himself, needed for the new toilet block after hearing members of staff discussing the need to raise the money.
