Saturday 25th July was a chance to see some of the many photographs taken by myself during the 2011 Caterham Festival in Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham Valley. Many people came and viewed the display; I feel, to see if they or someone they knew were captured during the event!

An unexpected event happened during the morning when a flash mob appeared and began singing Happy Day. Surprised shoppers stopped and enjoyed the unexpected entertainment performed by Caterham Baptist Church, but were left confused as to what had happened as the singers disappeared as quickly as they had arrived!

Caterham Festival held their second Food Festival on Sunday 12th June in Croydon Road, Caterham Valley. The road was closed from 9am to 5pm from the roundabout along to the Co-op to allow the stalls to set up in the road.

Despite the appalling weather, shoppers still came and enjoyed the many wares offered by local business and the International Market. Most popular on this very cold and wet June day were the hot food and drink stalls!
