As part of the Caterham Festival the second two day Music Festival – DeFest 2011 took place at De Stafford School in Burntwood Lane, Caterham on 18th and 19th June.
The playing fields of the school were taken over by two stages and many music lovers. Besides the music to enjoy, Ride the Hill were back with demonstrations on mountain boards. Mercerdes-Benz gave youngsters the chance to drive one of their cars and a Craft Fair was in the hall for the less adventurous.
John Paul Goddard was the compere for the two-day event, with local radio station Ridge Radio in attendance the whole weekend to keep music lovers entertained while the bands were changing over.
