The 2nd Caterham Festival, Street Party took place in Caterham High Street on Sunday 30th May 2010. Caterham has so much talent! The 2nd Caterham Festival, Street Party took place in Caterham High Street on Sunday 30th May 2010.

The Caterham Round Table organised two boat races. The first Caterham Round Table Boat Race was for the children, starting at Court Road with them racing down the High Street in their two man boats supporting local businesses. [Read more…]

The 2nd Caterham Festival was launched today 28th May 2010 at The Soper Hall in Harestone Valley Road, Caterham Valley. An invited audience heard Mr Norman Skinner read out his poem, which won the competition run by the Caterham & District Independent describing the Caterham Festival. Sam Gyimah the new MP for East Surrey also attended what is the start of a month of arts, sports, food, community & heritage events.

Caterham Festival won an award, they came first in the Social and Community category, of the South East Market Town.

The 3rd Caterham Party in the Park took place on Saturday 15th May at Marden Lodge School in Croydon Road, Caterham, arranged by Marden Lodge PTA in partnership with Reigate School of Art, Design & Media.  A full line up of artists included Fastrack, Soundproof, The Versions, Si Cranstoun, BZA, Black Iris and Chained Emotion. The stage troop, Work Life Entertainment preformed on stage to music from the musicals. [Read more…]
