The 3rd Caterham Rotary Bunny Fun Run took place on Sunday 28th March 2010 in Queen’s Park, Caterham. Over 100 runners took part in the 1K Fun Run helping to raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice and other local charities.
Many of the participants dressed up for the occasion and prizes were given to the best dressed. Mums and dads ran carrying babies on their backs or pushing them in pushchairs, grandparents ran with grandchildren, the family dogs ran with the family. Amber Clifton of Harestone Lops ran with her rabbit on a lead, that is when he wasn’t munching on the grass!
The Caterham and District Independent, CATAX Ltd, Ross Cycles, BCL Systems, Indulgence Confectionery and Waitrose sponsored the event and every runner received an Easter Egg on completing the course, Ben Ruiz was the first across the winning line of the 1K fun run.
